At the heart of the week is a rare opportunity to learn directly from Brenda Jean Russell, an internationally active dancer and teacher who has been teaching Balboa since 2001. Growing up on the US West Coast, she learned from original Balboa dancers and carries authentic, embodied knowledge passed down from legends including Willie & Lila Desatoff, Maxie Dorf, and Hal & Marge Takier.
Workshops take place in a beautiful studio right by the Aare River, with refreshing swims between classes included! The week also offers plenty of opportunities to relax, connect, and dance outdoors together.
