We're thrilled to welcome WheelUP to Brighton Sundae for his debut. If you've seen him at We Out Here, Love Supreme or Glastonbury, you'll know he brings serious energy to the dancefloor. We've been rinsing his tracks at Sundae for years, so this one is guaranteed to go off.

West London producer, DJ and bruk renaissance torchbearer Danny Wheeler has become one of the leading names in broken beat. A former resident on Balami, Worldwide FM and 1BTN, he's released music on CoOperation, Future Bounce and Brighton's own Tru Thoughts.

His acclaimed albums Good Love (2021), We Are The Magic (2023) and Inner Light (2025) feature collaborations with Kaidi Tatham, Afronaut, Victoria Port, Liv East, Sio, Steven Bamidele and more, earning support from Gilles Peterson, Jamz Supernova, Benji B, Bonobo, Ben UFO and Laurent Garnier.

Originally known for his drum & bass work as Danny Wheeler, he's followed the lineage of 4hero into broken beat, earning recognition from Bugz in the Attic for helping bring the sound to new audiences.

He's played everywhere from Love Supreme, We Out Here and Lost Village to KOKO, Brick Lane Jazz Festival and Worldwide Sète, while his WheelUP Presents nights continue to champion the scene.
