The BCT Bumps and Babes playgroup is the place to meet families in Basel. Come connect with new and expecting parents and introduce your baby to their very first friends. This group is especially designed for expecting parents and babies up to one year old. It is a great resource to ask questions and exchange advice with other parents. The BCT's prenatal and postnatal educator, Susie Atkinson, can also share her insider tips about childbirth and parenting in the Basel area.

The group meets at Magical Cafe (Max Kämpf Platz 2, 4058 Basel) on Fridays from 10:30–12:00. The cafe has a play area for small children and a selection of drinks, baked goods, daily soup and bagels for lunch. BCT members who show their digital membership card during the playgroup timeslot receive a discount on purchases.

Attendance to the BCT playgroup is free for BCT members. Non-members are welcome to 2 free visits to try the playgroup; afterwards please purchase a membership or pay 5 CHF per visit to support the BCT.

The playgroup is held immediately following Susie Atkinson's Mignon Baby Connected and Contented Baby Course. Mignon Baby is a BCT partner offering pre- and post-natal courses; BCT members receive a CHF 5 discount on individual classes or CHF 10 off a block booking of four or more classes.
