
Astronomy Coding Club for Kids (Session 1)
Hands-on Scratch coding workshop for 9–12 year olds exploring planetary motion and Moon phases.
The Astronomy Coding Club, offered in partnership with the Dunlap Institute, introduces kids to the basics of Scratch coding while exploring fascinating astronomical concepts. Participants will use code to model and better understand real space phenomena such as planetary motion and the phases of the Moon.
No prior coding or astronomy experience required.
Please bring your own laptop if possible. A limited number of computers will be available to borrow.
Please note: Session 1 and 2 are identical sessions that cover the same content. Please register for only one session.

Capacity: Maximum of 10 participants
Gentle Reminder: Due to high demand, we kindly encourage all participants to arrive on time. Please note that if a participant is more than 5 minutes late, their spot will be forfeited and offered to someone on the waitlist or walk-ins.
