Best known as the longest-serving and most popular presenter on the BBC's multi-award-winning Escape to the Country, Jules has also been a Country file regular for over a decade, a field archaeologist, a Naval Reserve officer, a furniture maker, and now an author. His autobiography, Wild at Heart: My Journey to a Country Life, is published in 2026, making this the perfect moment to see him live on stage. Jules grew up meeting people from every background in his mother's B&B, and that warmth and ease has always defined his broadcasting style. In conversation he ranges across thirty years of television, archaeology and military history, country living, craft and making, and Britain's landscape and heritage — all delivered with the good humour and accessibility that's made him a household name.
