We're welcoming summer with the second edition of Alquimura Challenges. On July 19th, from 3 PM to 9 PM, we'll witness another epic clash between various genres of bass music and beyond, led by host Alquimura and a guest DJ.
Not every DJ has what it takes to step into a Challenges battle. It requires a broad and eclectic music library, a special ability to connect with the crowd, and stamina to match. DJ Ki has all that and more. Alongside many years of experience and a record collection worthy of a museum, he brings a surgical mixing technique and five scalpels in each hand, responsible for the exhilarating cuts that are as familiar to us as they are eagerly anticipated.
Expect a vinyl and digital set journeying through Hip Hop, Dub, Dubstep, UK Garage, Breakbeat, Jungle, Drum & Bass, and whatever else comes to mind. The sonic pressure will be delivered through the Crave sound system. The battlefield will be the outdoor area of Arroz Estúdios - the perfect place to soak up the sun and the bass.
This season, we want to intensify the experience by adding poetry to the cauldron. That's why we're bringing microphones and inviting all MCs bold enough to step into this journey.
