Agentic Shift Munich #3
An evening meetup in Munich with talks on agentic engineering, AI adoption pitfalls and harness engineering for practitioners
WHY THIS MATTERS: Our first two events proved high interest in top-quality live events with rich networking. So we are presenting our 3rd meetup!
ORGANIZERS Alexey Krivitsky Martin Westphal Hosting partner: EGYM
OUR AGENDA: 18:00 Door open, drinks & snacks served 18:30 - 19:10 Martin's monthly agentic update As always, Martin shares top updates he finds exciting and valuable for all of us to pay attention to and play with in the field of agentic engineering.
19:30 - 20:10 Alexey on Fallacies of AI Adoptions Being an org consultant and having gone through many (successful and attempted) org changes over the last 15 years, Alexey will share his insights on what we can learn from the era of Agile transformations and how to avoid key anti-patterns of org changes.
20:30 - 21:10 Robert Glaser on Harness Engineering The Pressure Reactor of Agentic Engineering Agent output now arrives faster than humans can review it. Models generate code, draw conclusions, and make decisions. Making that work productive is no longer a question of which tool you plug in. It is a question of the environment around the agent: how the agent works reliably, how it self-corrects, and how its output becomes traceable change. That environment is the discipline we call Harness Engineering.
The talk shows what agent-legible environments look like and what role technical backpressure plays inside them. Compilers, typecheckers, tests, and linters are the easy part. The harder part is backpressure that comes from product, domain, security, and operations, so technically correct output does not drift past the actual business goal. Outcome Grading is the other half: once you can grade behavior precisely, machines can iterate against that grade. Tests are only the most primitive form.
There is an industrial lineage that rarely gets named here. The factory is part of the product it produces. You improve both together. We are porting that discipline onto software that agents produce.
For engineers, architects, and product leaders who want agent work to land as verified change in production systems.
