A More Perfect Union
Adults · History · General
To commemorate our nation's 250th, the Largely Literary Theater Company offers a tribute to the writing and the writers who inspired the cause of American independence, who took 13 very different colonies and made them united states, and who then convinced those states to adopt a constitutional republic in order to form a more perfect union -- from Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" and Patrick Henry's speeches to Thomas Jefferson's "Declaration of Independence" and the Federalist Papers of Alexander Hamilton and James Madison. It took the blood, sweat and tears of a wide variety of people, of many backgrounds, temperaments and beliefs, all fighting for a common cause to make the dream of America come true. Presented by Largely Literary Theater Company (promoting literature, literacy and live theater for more than 20 years).
Registration begins on Friday, August 14 at 9:00 a.m.
