Ignoring Izzy
Picture this: It’s silent. 6 kooks in dark mesh materialise from out of nowhere, armed with fringes, instruments, and a bag full of vegetables. The music starts — it’s, chaotic, tantalising dancey and drenched in psychedelic sweetness. Izzy is chowing on a Japanese radish. You think nothing of it, until she appears right in front of you, bewitching you. Sucking you in. You can’t leave, but you don’t want to.
MPTL Microplastics
8 pieces Industrial Folk collective playing chronoplastic ballads of the future. A group of Neo-Krassical noisniks operating in the interstice of poetry, percussion and performance art. They will be playing a one off spiritual tribute to the soundtrack of Nathan Barley
Running Standard
6-piece project from the rural North West of England, now London-based. They play jazz-inflected experimental folk rock. The live set balances structure and rigidity with improvisation.
