Rubio is the project of Chilean artist, songwriter, and producer Fran Straube, praised by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and Billboard for her distinctive blend of avant-pop, electronica, trip-hop, and Latin American influences.

With acclaimed albums like Pez, Mango Negro, and Venus & Blue, Rubio has performed at major festivals including Lollapalooza, Primavera Sound, and The Great Escape, and was featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
