The Acorn programmes a mix of live music, literature events and practical workshops. You’ll find unplugged gigs, folk and indie acts alongside author conversations, local history talks and writing sessions that draw on Cornish place and memory. The room is intimate and focused on participation. Events range from festival-style lineups to one-off workshops: weaving history into stories, mapping queer lives in Cornwall, and paths to publication. It’s a spot for learning and for catching music and performance up close.
