Before he was Shiba San, he spent 15 years behind the boards in France's hip-hop underground, writing the records, never chasing the spotlight. When he walked away from that world in 2013, he carried everything with him: the swing, the grit, the instinct for a groove that hits before you know why.

“Okay”, released on Dirtybird in 2014, held #1 on Beatport's House chart for 82 days and landed him two consecutive International Dance Music Awards. Now based in Miami, Shiba runs Basement Leak, a label built for raw, funk-soaked house music that doesn't ask permission. The sound is getting darker, dustier, and more unhinged.
