Sewing Basics - Bucket Hat
Hands-on makerspace sewing class (15+) to learn sewing basics and sew a bucket hat; materials provided
THE SEWING MACHINE CERTIFICATION CLASS IS A PRE-REQUISITE FOR THIS CLASS.
This class is intended for customers who have already taken the Sewing Machine Certification class and at least one of the Sewing Basics classes. Some sewing experience is necessary for this class.
In this hands-on sewing class, you'll continue to learn the basics of sewing while creating your very own bucket hat! Whether you're new to sewing or looking to sharpen your skills, this class will guide you through each step, from selecting fabric to stitching the final seams. By the end of the class, you'll have a custom-made bucket hat and the confidence to tackle more sewing projects in the future.
Please note that you might not finish this project during the class. You will be able to book a sewing machine in the Makerspace to complete your project. Staff will be on hand in the Makerspace to give help and advice as needed.
This class is intended for ages 15 and older.
You need to have completed the Sewing Machine Certification class and one other Sewing Basics class before taking this class.
Registration for this class begins at 9am on July 9.
There is a $12 cost for this class. All materials will be provided.
Registration is through Zeffy. We are unable to process refunds for this class.
