Reflections
Daytime FLINTA day party in The Outhouse garden with EHFM hosts and a 7‑hour DJ journey from dreamy ambience to uplifting dancefloor
Reflections is a day party with a FLINTA line-up taking place in a hidden courtyard garden within the heart of Edinburgh’s queer district. Bringing together some of the brightest stars of Edinburgh’s community radio station, EHFM, we’ll be taking you on a 7 hour expedition through the serene, the beautiful, the groovy and the euphoric.
Hosted by lovers of big feelings and intimate connection, this party will create a unique space to explore sound and rhythm. We encourage you to move your body in any way you desire and to connect with those around you. We’ll be starting things off nice and mellow with itsbliss and Nikki Kent travelling through two hours of ultra dreamy selections, the likes honed on their Dreams in Colour and M O R S E L monthly radio shows.
EHFM morning hosts Otisworming and discjocelyne will start building the grooves up through the afternoon with eclectic sounds bringing the soothing vibes up to the dancefloor before we round things off with all four hosts returning to the decks to end the night with some huge uplifting beats. This is a safe space, everyone is welcome and it will be a celebration of life’s beauty, community and shared experience.
While we’re suggesting a £5 donation to cover soundsystem hire, this is voluntary and nobody will be expected to pay for entry unless they choose to. The Outhouse is a queer friendly bar which is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor and garden. There will be areas of shelter outside in the garden and access to disabled/mixed gender toilets. Access to the bar is via a cobbled street and there is a small step at the entrance and a ramp into the garden.
