PyConZA 2026
PyConZA 2026 — the South African Python community conference in Cape Town and online, 15–18 Oct
PyConZA is the annual gathering of the South African community of people learning, using and developing the open-source Python programming language. It is organized by the Python community for the community.
We'd like PyConZA to be accessible to as many people as possible and to foster unique solutions to the challenges we face in Africa. The fourteenth PyConZA will take place in Cape Town and online from 15 to 18 October 2026.
Please purchase the appropriate kind of ticket for how you plan to attend — i.e. a Cape Town ticket if you plan to attend in person, or an online ticket if you plan to attend remotely. Early-bird tickets will be available in each ticket category on a first-come, first-served basis.
Like many community Python conferences, we apply an "everyone pays" policy: we ask everyone, including speakers and even organisers, to buy a ticket. However, we offer a financial aid program, and welcome anyone who would be excluded by this policy to request a ticket. Please mention that you are an accepted speaker if you make a financial aid ticket request.
