Newcomer Reading Buddies

Join MPL and CICS Immigrant Youth Centre for a Newcomer Reading Buddies program throughout the month of October (starting October 8).

Join us in interactive reading activities that help build literacy, reading confidence, vocabulary, and communication skills.

Learning Outcomes:

Through shared stories, games, and engaging discussions, you will strengthen your reading comprehension, critical thinking, and social skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

This program is for ages 6-14.

For safety and supervision, parents or guardians of participants under the age of 12 will be required to remain on the premises throughout the program.
