An evening of boundary-pushing poetry in Bradford with an afternoon workshop on place writing
In summer of heatwaves and football, make space for More Song.
On August 6th we’ll be joined by Eleanor Rees, Antony Rowland and Alex Priestly for an evening of gloriously boundary-pushing poetry at the 1 in 12 Club Library in Bradford.
Antony will be leading a workshop in the afternoon 2–4pm on left-field place writing looking at Ginsberg’s America as an inspiration for writing about place. Tickets are £7 which also cover your entry to the evening’s readings.
Workshop attendees will be given priority for the open mic, but of course everyone is welcome to message for a five-minute open mic slot. Get in touch if you’d like to read on the open mic!
