BSL Interpreted Drama Day
A one-day movement and physical theatre workshop for deaf young people with BSL interpretation, open to hearing friends.
Work with a professional deaf actor and a professional theatre maker to create, explore and develop movement and physical theatre practice. There will also be a BSL interpreter. This is ideal for anyone who is interested in acting, dance, movement. No prior experience is needed.
Using a variety of Visual Vernacular and physical theatre techniques, you will play, experiment and develop an original piece of work. This day is specifically for deaf young people, but you are welcome to bring a hearing friend or sibling. Together we will explore how our bodies move as a collective and as individuals to tell different stories.
