Hands-on tree and shrub pruning workshop led by horticulturist Marcey Mirick — safety, timing, technique and tool care.
Taught by Marcey Mirick, a horticulturist with over 30 years of industry experience. Topics will include safety, timing, trees vs shrubs, renewal vs rejuvenation, old wood vs new wood, and tool maintenance. Classroom discussion followed by supervised hands-on practice. In spring 2027, be sure to look for Part II, which will focus on how to prune perennials.
