Heritage Valley Library is a community library in Edmonton focused on families and neighbourhood life. You’ll find lots of kids’ programming: baby laptime, sing-and-sign sessions, youth shows and the Summer Reading Fest with themes like Dino Swamp, Shark Attack and LEGO boats. Staff run creative workshops and occasional partnerships with local museums for cultural sessions. The place is relaxed and practical: activity tables, story corners and public computers. Outside of family hours there are drop-in sessions for seniors and basic computer skills workshops. It’s a good stop if you want hands-on kids’ activities or simple community services close to home.
