Trey Hedrick is an Appalachian singer-songwriter from the hills of southeastern Ohio, along the West Virginia border. Raised in a musical, working-class family, he grew up surrounded by bluegrass and classic country, with music always present in daily life. His grandfather, a retired coal miner and respected local musician, helped shape his early connection to songwriting.

Blending traditional bluegrass with the soul of Americana, Trey writes grounded, heartfelt songs rooted in real people, places, and the culture of Appalachia. His music carries the grit, pride, and honesty of the region he calls home, delivered with a natural sense of storytelling that feels both personal and universal.

The first in his coal-mining family to attend college, Trey went on to work as a geologist before fully committing to music. He's quickly building momentum across Appalachia, growing a dedicated fanbase drawn to his authentic, roots-driven sound.

He's been featured multiple times by Country Central, including a 9/10 review for "Go Gently Fall," along with coverage from The Bluegrass Situation and The Western Side. His debut album, Sing, Appalachia, produced by five-time Grammy-winning engineer Sean Sullivan (Tyler Childers, Billy Strings, Sierra Ferrell, Sturgill Simpson), continues to build on that momentum.
