SHĀHERI is a Los Angeles–based musical project blending Persian heritage with psychedelic rock, cinematic groove, and modern guitar-driven sound. Led by Emmy Award–winning composer Jonathan Shaheri, the project draws on pre-revolutionary Iranian legends such as Kourosh Yaghmaei and Googoosh, reframed through a contemporary Los Angeles lens.
Their debut project PERSIĀDELICĀ spans eight tracks of hypnotic groove, vintage textures, and sweeping guitar work, featuring songs like TARIĀK, DOKHTAR SHEKAR, BANDITĀ, and DONYĀ. SHĀHERI is noted for immersive, unpredictable live performances that create a transportive, electric concert experience. The band is touring North America with further shows planned internationally.
