Brighton alt-pop trio Moon Idle perform cinematic, trip‑hop‑tinged songs ahead of a 2026 release
Moon Idle have emerged as one of Brighton’s most unique offerings. Their sound blends cinematic textures, tension and intimacy - channeling alt-pop songwriting and trip-hop production. There’s a sense of nostalgic unease in every track, reminiscent of Massive Attack and Radiohead.
Having received BBC Radio 1 support through Alyx Holcombe with their debut EP Kindly, and opening for the likes of Habibi, Loren Kramar and Coals among others, the band’s next offering - a brand new world they’ve been painting over the past year, is due to be released in 2026 with much anticipation.
