About KETTAMA Born Evan Campbell on May 30, 1997, in Galway, Ireland, KETTAMA grew up in a small Atlantic coast city with a punching-above-its-weight musical culture. At 16, he bought a Launchpad that came bundled with a trial version of Ableton and immediately began experimenting, remaking piano parts from hip-hop tracks he loved. Six months later, teaching himself through online forums and downloaded software, he was producing his own tracks and uploading them to SoundCloud.
