Anarchist labour organizing
On the 2nd of July, at 19:00 we'll have a discussion on labour organizing and anarchism at the anarchist library in Amsterdam. This is a joint event between Horeca United and the Anarchist Group Amsterdam. We'll have some basic food available on donation during the event.
We'll start with a short talk from each group about what they do regarding labour organizing, followed by a common discussion about our plans and vision. Any critique, idea or opinion from you is more than welcome.
After this, we want to have a broader discussion about what it means to organize at work as anarchists: what is the necessity, what tactics can we use, and what is the relationship between our efforts and structures of power such as companies, the government or unions?
We do not want the event to be a lecture; we invite your participation for a discussion with a broad range of opinions, experiences and critiques.
