Viv Le Vav (aka Vivian le Vavasseur) is a Jersey-born folk-pop singer-songwriter now based in Berlin. Living an unconventional life in a self-built yurt on the outskirts of the city, Viv brings a distinctive voice shaped by both classical training and a fearless, contemporary songwriting approach.
A seasoned performer, Viv will share songs from Focus on the Heart , their 2024 ArtHouse Jersey-supported EP, alongside new material from Music for Moths , an upcoming album due for release in spring 2026. Recorded in Berlin with collaborators Drew Deal and Michal Smetana, the recent work embraces analogue studio processes and a traditional approach to music-making, balancing craft with spontaneity.
Following an intensive 50-city tour in 2025, audiences can expect thoughtful and provocative songwriting, soaring vocal melodies and an intimate live performance, self-accompanied on piano.
