ULD
Norwegian trio ULD perform intimate folk‑alt pop with three voices, piano and accordion at The Eagle Inn in Manchester
Critically acclaimed Norwegian trio ULD bring their intimate, dynamic blend of folk and alt-pop to Manchester. ULD consists of Une Lorentze Onarheim, Lucia Andreadatter Utnem and Dagny Braanen Lindgren.
With three voices, piano and accordion, the trio brings together Norwegian folk song, contemporary folk, alternative pop and Nordic sonic traditions into an intimate and finely tuned sound. Their debut album Fra en annen virkelighet, released in October 2024, earned them three nominations at the Norwegian Grammy Awards the following year.
In 2025, the trio also received both the Edvard Prize and the Prøysen Prize. Their songs “Vondt å vende” and “Jeg skal finne deg” both spent several weeks in the Norwegian Top 50. In the winter of 2025, ULD sold out two concerts at Oslo Concert Hall, performing with a full band for a combined audience of 2,800. Their first tour of Denmark the same year was also completely sold out.
This summer, they will appear at Roskilde Festival and several of Norway’s most prestigious festivals. On stage, ULD are characterised by a strong sense of dynamics, calm presence, and a rare ability to let silence become part of the music.
