In 2015 a new period for all fans of real endurance tests and big adventures began. Bikepacking has finally arrived in Switzerland. The HOPE-1000, the first Bikepacking-Event in this country, does not need support cars, no mechanics, no crewmembers, no road-closures, no marshalls and no signposts.
The route of the HOPE-1000 takes you on a journey over a distance of 1000 km and a bit over 31'000 meters of climbing from Romanshorn on the Lake Constance down to Montreux at the Lake Geneva shore.
