Storytime Studio: Talk It Out
Drop-in one-hour story, play, and art sessions for children 0â6 with two weekly slots at 10:00 and 11:00
ABOUT STORYTIME STUDIO
Storytime Studio is a captivating blend of play, educator-led read-alouds, and art exploration designed for kids from birth to age 6 and their caregivers. During each hourlong session, starting at 10 and 11 AM every Wednesday and Thursday, visitors are welcomed into our studio to enjoy a special Storytime adventure.
THIS WEEK
Spanish sculptor Juan Muñozâs (1953â2001) first retrospective in the United States premiered at the Hirshhorn in 2001, and his sculpture Last Conversation Piece (1994â1995) recently returned to the Museum Plaza. In the work, several figures appear to be engaged in a conflict. Join us to learn about conflict resolution and to make your own air-dry sculptures to take home. Featured book: Draw the Line by Kathryn Otoshi
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Storytime Studio is a one-hour experience. There are two Storytime sessions each program day, with entry times at 10 and 11 AM. Participation for each adult and child is limited to one hour. No pre-registration is required. Entry to Storytime Studio is first-come, first-served. Once the 10 AM session reaches capacity, youâll be given the option to return for entry to the 11 AM session. Storytime Studio has limited capacity. Weâll pause further entry when both sessions reach full capacity to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Due to limited capacity during this public drop-in program, school, youth, and other large groups of eight or more (adults and children) are encouraged to reserve a group program by contacting [email protected]. Everyone is welcome. Nursing caregivers are welcome. If there are services or accommodations that can improve your experience (e.g., ASL interpretation, live captioning, etc.), please contact [email protected].
