STEAM 101: Fruit Bat Smoothies

Come join us at the Davidson branch for an afternoon of smoothies made with ingredients pollinated by bats as we learn about our flying friends and bat conservation. Teens will explore chemistry as seen in cooking, one of the oldest and most widespread uses of applied chemistry. Learn about which species live in our state and get some hands-on experience with blending your very own drink courtesy of bats, of course!

Registration is required so we have adequate amounts of ingredients for everyone.

This program will be provided by Davidson library staff and is recommended for teens and preteens ages 9 to 18.
