Following their sell out productions of ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ and last year’s ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’, Derby Youth Musical Theatre are delighted to be performing this much -loved family musical featuring a large cast of multi-talented young people between the ages of 13 -25. Everyone’s favourite ogre is back in the hilarious stage spectacle based on the award-winning, smash hit film. The live Shrek band of professional musicians will support the young cast with its toe-tapping songs and music including ‘I’m a Believer’, ‘Big Bright Beautiful World’ and ‘I Know it’s Today’. SHREK is punctuated with love, laugher and ogre-sized fun and perfect entertainment for the whole family: for big kids and little kids alike.
