The Tees Valley International Film Festival brings you the gala premiere of "Screwball", the new short film by Jacob Stockton.

'Screwball' tells the story of Jackson Connelly, an ice-cream man who is left devastated when a family court ruling strips him of access to his young daughter. In a moment of mad desperation, Jackson kidnaps the judge responsible. How far is Jackson willing to go in order to win his daughter back?

The film stars Steven Tomkinson, Craig Conway and Alfie Dobson in the lead roles. This gala premiere will also feature a live interview and audience Q&A with filmmaker Jacob Stockton and the actors after the screening.
