Requiem
Outdoor large-scale kinetic performance and original score by Kaleider at Queen's Park for Govanhill Carnival
This summer, Tramway is bringing a large-scale outdoor performance to Queen's Park, as part of Govanhill Carnival and Festival.
'Requiem', by international studio Kaleider, combines kinetic installation and an original musical score with structure and sound. Performers construct a monumental form in front of an audience, as a requiem for life on this planet.
This one-off performance is a genuine save-the-date event.
Sunday 16 August, 3.30 - 5pm Queen's Park FREE and unticketed, open to all Wheelchair accessible, with seated and standing areas. No spoken dialogue, suitable for deaf and hard of hearing audiences.
Presented by Tramway Beyond Walls - an ongoing strand of contemporary performance, visual art and creative participation which aims to engage with local audiences outside of the physical limits of our building.
