Quilting Club
Weekly hand-sewing quilting meet at Jones Library where adults collaborate to make donated quilts
The focus of this program is to make quilts for donation, using fabrics that have been donated to the group for this purpose.
Participants meet weekly to share ideas and inspiration while working on quilts. There are no sewing machines at the library so any sewing is done by hand. Most participants also work on quilts using their own sewing machine at home. Quilts are completed both as individual projects and as group collaborations.
New members are welcome, and will have access to the instructions, fabrics, needle and thread required to contribute on-site to the current group project.
The quilters do not meet when school is out (for example March break, July and August, and the December break).
