Following seven successful editions that have consistently drawn a dedicated community of music lovers, maximalism returns for its eighth installment on Sunday, August 9th. The setting is once again rake?raka?, one of Shinsaibashi’s key underground DJ bars. Known for its intimate atmosphere and high-fidelity Funktion-One sound system, the venue offers a deeply immersive sonic experience. It is also home to “DEAR MONDAY,” a long-running Monday night party that has been active since the pre-pandemic era.

Curating the night is Subete No Owari (ex.ALTF4), a DJ and organizer operating between Tokyo and Osaka. His sets move fluidly between ambient textures, minimal techno, deconstructed club, and trance, creating a dynamic interplay between introspection and intensity.

Lineup: ・Subete No Owari (maximalism / Organizer) ・MATSURYO specializes in techno and deconstructed club sounds. He is also involved as an organizer in several parties of his own. His musical background comes from metal, having originally played in bands before transitioning to the DJ scene.

With a carefully curated lineup and an intimate space shaped by a shared obsession with sound, maximalism continues to establish its own identity within Osaka’s underground scene. Join us for a night where experimental sound meets the dancefloor.
