Ten-week cultural dance program for 6–18 year olds exploring Fijian, Māori, Tongan and Samoan traditions
Cultural Dance Program (Ages 6–18)
This exciting cultural dance program is open to children and young people aged 6 to 18 years. Children under 7 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.
Program Schedule
Weeks 1–2: Fijian Dance
Weeks 3–4: Māori Dance
Weeks 5–6: Tongan Dance
Weeks 7–8: Samoan Siva Afi (Fire Knife Dance) – limited to 20 participants
Weeks 9–10: Cultural Dance Recap and Community Performance
Join us in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where participants can explore the rich traditions of Pacific cultures through dance. Through movement, music, storytelling, and cultural expression, young people will build confidence, improve fitness, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships.
No previous dance experience is required—everyone is welcome to participate, learn, and celebrate culture together.
