Lego SPIKE Robotics & Engineering for Grades 6+

Teens and tweens (Grades 6+) will use LEGO SPIKE PRIME kits and the Prime app to engineer, code, and maneuver robots to accomplish an objective.

July 17: Super Cleanup Grabber

July 24: Hopper Race [moving creature]

July 31: This is Uphill [motorcycle]

Aug 07: Aim for It [motorized vehicle]

The Prime App has all lessons and plans built in. If your child or pair doesn't want to do the weekly project, they are free to build or code something else, but help, instruction, and time might not be available for them to complete their project if they stray from the lesson.

Free. Registration required. You can register 1 month before classes start. 15 kits available; working in pairs is permitted if the registered person agrees and brings their own friend of age or picks someone from the waitlist. Please do not register if your child doesn’t meet the age requirement. There can be up to 30 participants, so please sign up for the waitlist and show up if you are interested.
