LA’s Garden Opening Reception

Join us at the Boddy House for the opening reception of the exhibition LA’s Garden. Meet the curator Rosten Woo, and enjoy music and a no-host bar.

LA’s Garden traces the transformation of Descanso Gardens from a native oak woodland to a living museum. The exhibition highlights the Gardens’ iconic botanical collections and the diverse individuals—from Japanese American nurserymen to visionary volunteers—who preserved this landscape for the public.

Opening reception and garden admission are free from 5–7pm on July 17, no event registration required. This program is generously funded, in part, by Perenchio Foundation.
