Weekly Kizomba classes for all levels with social dancing and cultural context at Norden Farm
Kizomba Fervura teaches and dances KIZOMBA/Passada (meaning steps) Coladera (meaning couples).
Kizomba actually means "party", a place where everyone comes together to enjoy and feel united (cultural meaning, connected to historical events).
The dance instructors follow a specific syllabus. This will help you learn and know everything about Kizomba and Semba fundamentals, including music and background story.
Courses run every 3 months and the idea is for you to learn and develop in the process while enjoying dancing and nice company.
With little effort and consistency, you will soon have a memorable experience, become part of a friendly community, develop dance skills and feel good about yourself.
The instructors are people with great personalities and energy ready to help you learn and enjoy.
Get ready to dive into the world of Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha, Konpa (Kompa)… You will get to know the culture and enjoy the dance naturally.
Every Thursday Kizomba classes of all levels welcome, beginners and absolute beginners welcome 8pm - 9pm followed by social dancing 9pm - 9.30pm. Everyone is welcome to stay after 9.30pm for a chat and a laugh at the Cafe Bar.
Summer course blocks: • Thu 7 May - 4 Jun (5 weeks) • Thu 11 Jun - 16 Jul, exc 18 Jun (5 weeks) • Thu 23 Jul - 27 Aug, exc 20 Aug (5 weeks)
Prices: £10 per session (includes social), £16 per couple (2 places), or £40 per 5 week course. All ticket transactions are subject to a £1.90 booking fee. Norden Farm Silver and Gold Members do not pay this fee.
