Anthony Linell is a true trailblazer, a master of atmospheric and hypnotic grooves, icy, rhythmic techno, and deep experimental music, which has swiftly and decisively carved out a distinct chapter in the history of contemporary Scandinavian techno, and, furthermore, left an indelible mark on Bassiani's musical identity. Formerly known as Abdulla Rashim and Lundin Oil, he now represents the other half of the Ulwhednar duo alongside his long-time friend and collaborator, one of Sweden’s finest, Varg, with whom he also laid the foundation for the iconic Northern Electronics label.

Renowned for its uncompromising vision, sound, and evocative aesthetic inspired by the cold Nordic landscapes, the label’s acoustic fingerprint is characterised by a bleak, melancholic resonance that intertwines with its visual language - strict, monochromatic, and minimalistic, forming an inseparable bond with the artistic output of its creators. Anthony Linell’s latest EP, Ett anständigt liv - his first collaboration with Evigt Mörker - was released in March 2026. The record unfolds as a study in continuity, pressure, and sustained focus. Across four pieces, a steady and tensile sonic palette develops, immersive in its repetition and controlled in its ascent. Subtle psychedelic inflexions surface within a darker, more restrained framework. The result is neither nostalgic nor decorative, but reduced, deliberate, and looking direct.

On 28th August, at Horoom, he'll be joined by Shvili and Georgian-based Ukrainian artist K.Pal, while live performance will be delivered by Snad, also known as Spandrel, a member of Mothership and We R The Aliens projects, who continues producing house and techno records and exclusive vinyl releases for labels such as KM4.5, Smallville, Minibar, Deep Club, Running Back, Kimochi, Feuilleton, and Balance.
