A look back at Cycle 2 of ahma’s mask (life∼death∼life) by Rae‑Yen Song 宋瑞渊
Performed in Rae‑Yen's Tramway exhibition •~𝗧𝗨𝗔~• 大眼 •~𝗠𝗔𝗞~• on 20 and 21 June as part of gifestival. Cycle 2 was performed by dancers Aniela Piasecka, Ayako and Kirstin Alex Hal (choreography by Aniela Piasecka), with live musical accompaniment from the clouds – Rae‑Yen Song, Michael Barr, Galen Song – and the Song family pond. The soundscape, by Flora YTW, reworked the exhibition score into a nocturnal remix made specially for the performance.
