Free Beginner Tango Class
Free relaxed beginner Argentine Tango class — no partner or experience needed, first session free
We are a group of Sydney's most renowned Argentine Tango dancers who are eager to grow our Argentine Tango community.
The class is designed for those who are new to dancing or dancers who have never tried Tango. The classes are delivered in a laid back, low pressure environment with some of Australia's best Argentine Tango dancers. Everyone is welcome.
No partner or dance experience required.
Argentine Tango is considered to be arguably the most sensual dance in the world. In 2009, UNESCO gave tango, whose Rio Platense birthplace includes Argentina and Uruguay, status as part of the world’s “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.”
It is a great way to connect with yourself and other people in ways you may not have experienced before. It has changed the lives of many who have taken it up.
Come along to meet new people and have fun, learn to express yourself and connect with others. Get your dose of exercise to stay healthy physically and mentally.
What to bring: Comfortable shoes that you can pivot on with ease (ballroom, jazz, Latin or any shoe with a non grippy sole). Your bottle of water, snack or drink.
