Family Fun Fest
Free family afternoon of STEAM, crafts, games and interactive demos at Aaniin Library (July 14, 1–4pm)
We are excited to announce that Markham Public Library will be hosting a Family Fun Fest at the Aaniin Library on Tuesday July 14 from 1–4pm!
Come join us for an exciting afternoon of activities with the theme “travel far and wide” including:
• STEAM Challenge: Make your own boat (using various materials) and test it out! • Duck race with straws • Arts/craft station (design your own car) • Join the race track using mini pull back cars • Outdoor fun games/activities (e.g., badminton - weather dependent, ring toss) • Organizations with interactive activities (Markham Fire Services, Ambulance tour - York Region Paramedics, YRP, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s Multicultural Connections Program - featuring touch and feel for various animal artifacts, Markham Cycles, Environmental Services, Markham Community South Action, Study Buddy - STEM Trivia Game) • Car demo and repair workshop (in partnership with Centennial College) • And much more!
