A family-friendly homage to Morecambe & Wise with classic sketches and musical guests at Exeter Northcott Theatre
In celebration of Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise's joint centenary — both entertainers would have celebrated their 100th birthdays in 2026 — a series of special performances has been announced for Eric & Ern, the new show from Ian Ashpitel and Jonty Stephen, the Olivier-nominated duo behind the West End hit Eric & Little Ern.
Eric & Ern takes audiences back to the times when whole families would huddle around the telly to watch the Morecambe & Wise Christmas specials. This homage to the two national comedy heroes is crammed full of renditions of famous comedy sketches, and hits all the right notes — from Greig's Piano Concerto to Mr Memory, "Arsenal!". The show features musical guests and is suitable for all the family from 8 to 80.
