A staged literary tribute presenting texts that shaped American independence and the Federalist founding debates
To commemorate our nation's 250th, the Largely Literary Theater Company offers a tribute to the writing and the writers who inspired the cause of American independence — from Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" and Patrick Henry's speeches to Thomas Jefferson's "Declaration of Independence" and the Federalist Papers of Alexander Hamilton and James Madison.
The programme highlights the diverse people, backgrounds and beliefs whose struggles and sacrifices helped form the United States and its constitutional republic. Presented by Largely Literary Theater Company (promoting literature, literacy and live theater for more than 20 years).
