Writing to movie music in Berlin!
Weekly candlelit focused writing session with film and TV music, prompts and short group discussion.
Overview
Each week we meet up to write by candlelight; at the same time, we listen to music from films and TV shows for 90 minutes of focus and flow!
Join a small group of geeky writers while we work downstairs in the sci-fi section of a book shop called Another Country! We'll keep the lights low and spend roughly 1 hour 30 minutes in deep focus writing our short story/novel/comic book/screenplay/etc. Drinks are available!
Here's how it works:
19:00 Bums on seats! Grab a drink, socialise... prepare to write.
19:15 Music starts, doors close, and we focus.
20:45 (ish) We finish and discuss our progress.
21:00 Home time... or we can go for a drink!
Other notes: We provide a writing prompt at the beginning of every session (if you need one). This is a focused writing session; avoid making loud or disruptive noises. Please drop any drinks payments at the front desk. The venue has a bathroom. If you need to cancel, change your RSVP so that someone else can take your seat! See you soon!
