HR Essentials
Free seminar for in-house HR professionals on managing capability and performance issues, with networking time.
We're delighted to launch our second HR Essentials Seminar Series; a new quarterly programme designed to support and develop early-career HR professionals. This series will deliver practical, jargon-free training on the key foundations of employment law, alongside valuable opportunities to connect with peers in similar roles.
Across the year, we will be focusing on the five fair reasons for dismissal, with each session taking a deep dive into one area. The next session will be hosted by Maryam Nackvi and Cassie Blackledge, Employment Solicitors at Herrington Carmichael, and will specifically focus on capability, providing a detailed exploration of how to manage performance issues fairly, consistently and in line with best practice.
The sessions are designed to give you clear, practical guidance, alongside the confidence to apply what you have learned in your day-to-day role. Alongside the training, there will also be dedicated time to network – giving you the opportunity to build connections, share experiences, and develop your professional HR network.
