Our garden is growing. Join us for our Green Spaces, Green Minds launch event, with Goldfinch Garden Design! Help Shape the Future of Stanley Arts’ Courtyard Garden Join us on Saturday 13 June for a community consultation event where we’ll be sharing plans for the future of the Stanley Arts gardens and green spaces. We want your ideas, feedback and involvement! As part of the project, we’re hosting a relaxed and creative workshop where local people can share ideas, explore planting inspiration, and help influence the future feel and use of the garden. The session will look at colourful summer planting and the vision for the Stanley Halls courtyard space, giving everyone a chance to contribute to the final planting plans. The workshop will include: • Ideas for summer container planting • Mood boards and planting inspiration • Small group discussions to help shape planting themes • Information about future planting days and volunteering opportunities We’re particularly keen to hear from local residents, young people, refugee communities, families, older residents and anyone interested in wellbeing, climate action, gardening, creativity or community-building. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or completely new to volunteering, everyone is welcome. Come along, meet local partners, and help us create greener, healthier and more connected community spaces for South Norwood. With thanks to the GLA and the Green Roots fund for their support in making this programme of activity possible.
